HELLO,

I'M CHANELLE

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST
FOUNDER

A little about me.

I believe that life is all about authenticity and a connection to the self, others and nature. I get that some days feel heavier than others—we’ve all been there, we’re all human, and we’re all in this together. I’ve also had my share of challenging days, and I know how important it is to feel seen and heard on our healing journey. I believe we are all connected in this shared experience of life.

That’s why I’m passionate about creating a space where you feel truly seen and heard. My special interest lies in helping people connect with their truest, most authentic selves. I believe that when we shed our defenses and layers of expectations, self-doubt, and fear, we discover a deeper sense of who we are and what we truly value. My goal is to support you in living a life that feels genuine, meaningful, and aligned with your true identity.

I approach my sessions with a mix of empathy, playfulness, and a sense of humor because sometimes we just need to laugh, even when things are tough. Together, we’ll work through the challenges, but we’ll also find moments of lightness along the way.

I'd love to help you explore how to build your resilience, nurture meaningful relationships, and rediscover the joy in everyday life—one real conversation at a time.

What are your qualifications?

BAppSC (Psychology) (Honours); Master of Clinical Psychology.

What therapies do you use?

When it comes to therapy, I do not just focus on surface-level concerns. I work gently with you to explore the deeper patterns, beliefs, and experiences that shape your current struggles. By addressing core issues through a range of therapies we can create meaningful and lasting change.

Some approaches I may use are:

  • Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS)

  • EMDR Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Attachment-Theory Interventions

  • Body Based (somatic) interventions

What are your special interests?

Trauma, family/relationship difficulties, LGBTQIA+, attachment, anxiety, substance dependence, and identity issues.

In my spare time I enjoy:

All things music, food, photography, traveling off the beaten path, exploring unique places and new cultures, swims in the ocean, and a cosy night in with the pup, Rhubarb!

HELLO,

I'M KATE

PSYCHOLOGIST

A little about me.

We can often become stuck in life, feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what steps to take next. I’ve learnt, on both a professional and personal level, that trying to figure this out with compassionate curiosity can make the process feel lighter and more manageable. In my work, I'm passionate about supporting you to bring a kinder and more open-minded approach to understanding yourself, especially when things feel overwhelming or hard to make sense of. I believe that meeting ourselves with curiosity, rather than judgment, is what opens the door to real understanding, growth and healing.

Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, I take a holistic and collaborative approach, which entails exploring the intricate aspects of you and your life, to better understand the root causes of any current distress or discomfort. Sometimes by zooming out, we are able to view situations from a richer and more balanced perspective. I believe there's a time for sitting with our feelings, a time for making sense of them, and a time for moving through them, and I aim to meet you where you are at in this process. At the core of it all is the therapeutic relationship we build, which will be grounded in warmth, trust, openness, humour and genuine connection.

You are the expert in your own life, even if it doesn't always feel that way. My role is to guide and support you to build on your inner resources, and to connect with and feel confident in using your own voice. I always aim to create a space that feels safe, so you can feel comfortable in connecting with your authentic self. â€‹

What therapies do you use?

Drawing on a mix of therapies, I aim to meet you where you are at and adapt as we go, so the therapy actually fits for you, rather than the other way around.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Attachment-based interventions

  • Trauma informed somatic approaches

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

What are your qualifications?

BAppSC (Psychology); Master of Counselling; BPsySC (Honours); Master of Professional Psychology.
